WHAT IS ARIZONA TIKI OASIS?

Arizona Tiki Oasis (AZTO) is the sister event to the current, long-running and much-loved Tiki Oasis (San Diego). AZTO will be held at the immaculate Mid-Century Hotel Valley Ho resort (est. 1956) in Old Town Scottsdale. Daytime events include a bustling Tiki artist marketplace, educational seminars and of course tropical cocktails. There will also be opportunities for poolside lounging, spa treatments and local Mid-Century tours. In the evening, dress snazzy for adult activities including a poolside luau, rooftop parties, cocktail lounge style dinners, invitation-only suite-hosted events and late night dancing. Although many events will be all ages such as the marketplace and seminars, the overall event is adult-oriented.

WILL THERE BE ENTERTAINMENT AT AZTO?

Yes, there will be entertainment scattered thru-out the event including the pool, marketplace, ZuZu Lounge, Tiki Oasis Nightclub, etc. Note there is no main concert stage but there will multiple opportunities to be entertained while making the scene with your Evening Resort Pass!

WILL YOU BOOK MY BAND, DJ, ETC FOR AZTO?

AZTO has a limited number of live entertainment opportunities. Bookings are planned in accordance with the offerings and size of the event. TICKETS

All tickets are sold a la carte. Tickets include: Evening Resort Pass, seminar tickets, luau dinner, mid-century tours, etc. The Evening Resort Pass will get you into all of the evening activitIes (except the Luau dinner)

MUST I PURCHASE A TICKET TO ATTEND THE EVENT?

During the day you can shop in the Marketplace and wander the grounds without a ticket. Seminar tickets are a la carte – we highly recommend you purchase those in advance to guarantee a spot! The EVENING time is meant for those with an ‘Evening Resort Pass’ which is a 21+ wristband that gets you into a series of evening events.

WHEN CAN I PURCHASE SEMINAR TICKETS and HOW MUCH ARE THEY?

Seminar tickets will go on sale January 14th, 2019 at 6pm PST. Seminar tickets range in price from free – $50.

DOES THE HOTEL BOOKING INCLUDE TICKETS TO THE EVENT?

Booking a room in at the main hotel or any of the suggested partner hotels does not include admission to any of the events. You must purchase tickets separately.

WHERE DO I PICK UP MY EVENT AND SEMINAR TICKETS?

Pick up your tickets at Tiki Oasis Registration in the lobby of the Hotel Valley Ho.

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

AZTO tickets are non-refundable after March 11th, 2019. Please note that the Luau tickets are non-refundable.

CAN I TRANSFER TICKETS?

Yes, you can do this directly within Eventbrite.

EVENING RESORT PASS WRISTBANDS

Those who purchase an Evening Resort Pass are given a wristband that allows you access to the evening events (except the Luau). You will be required to wear this wristband (on your wrist) at all times during the evening events. Cut off wristbands will not be accepted and NO you will not be issued a second wristband – so don’t take your wristband off at any time! If they are too tight please stop by the registration desk where they will cut off the band and issue you a new wristband.

SEMINAR ENTRY

We suggest you arrive 15-20 minutes early to all seminars. Note that for some seminars we are processing over 100 attendees and it takes some time to process everyone. The Cocktail Seminars are restricted to those 21 years age and over. Proof of age will be required at the door. Seminars are subject to change or cancellation. Refunds will be issued for cancelled seminars at the discretion of Tiki Oasis.

HOTEL CANCELLATION

The Hotel Valley Ho charges a non-refundable one night’s room & tax deposit due at time of booking.

UNDER 21

Under 21 are not allowed in our evening events but they would have access during the day to the entire grounds including the Marketplace and both swimming pools. After 6pm the Oh! Pool will be 21+ but the Ohasis pool will remain all ages. Children under 18 should be accompanied by a supervising adult.

21 AND OVER

If you are 21 or over, bring a current I.D. or passport. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at all of our events for those 21 and over in age.

IS THERE A WEAPONS POLICY AT AZTO?

AZTO is proud to be a safe environment where everyone can have a great time and feel safe at the same time. As per other large scale events, we have a No Weapons policy. Please read this entire policy before attending AZTO.

The following items are forbidden at the AZTO event:

  • Functional firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
  • Realistic replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for functional real firearms)
  • Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows and slingshots)
  • Sharpened metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, swords and switch blades)
  • Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
  • Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray) and Aerosol mustard
  • Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs and nunchaku)
  • Instruments that cause excessive noise levels like vuvuzelas, grenade whistles and grenade horns

Prop weapons will be allowed providing they are composed of cardboard, foam, wood, plastic or other light materials. Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons.
