Presented by Shannon Mustipher & Doc Parks
Rum blend traditions began in 1655 when the first iconic blend was introduced to the world: the British Navy Tot. Over the years, European merchant bottlers created blends of their own, with an emphasis on Caribbean liquors. In the early 2000's, American bar programs began to bring quality rums into their bar programs, including blended rum brands. This seminar, by spirits educator and author Shannon Mustipher, will involve rum tasting and a hands-on blending exercise.
