Presented by Adam Henry
When it comes to tropical drinks, what’s inside the glass (or mug) is only half of the experience. In this class, mixologists from Hidden Harbor in Pittsburgh will teach the ins and outs of tropical garnish and presentation, from the mid-century to the modern, and from the restrained to the more theatrical, including a few showstopper garnishes. Guests will leave with the thought process and practical information necessary to make beautiful, photograph-worthy tropical beverages at their home bars.
Adam Henry is co-owner and cocktail director at Hidden Harbor in Pittsburgh - "America's Most Eccentric Tiki Mecca" (Punch Magazine, 2016). Since opening in 2016, Hidden Harbor has earned national acclaim for its contemporary take on the American Tiki tradition, integrating modern techniques and ingredients into classically inspired Tiki drinks and working closely with dozens of artists to help shape the look of Tiki in the 21st century. @hiddenharbor
